Welcome to my first post!

Now what?

Well, shit. What do other bloggers say?

 Well, I'll start by telling you a little about me. I am a child of an astrologer and a banker. No idea how that happened, but I'm happy for it. 
No big surprise, however, that I am also a child of divorce. As a result of those factors I'm kind of a free-thinker, but I got a good dose of common sense, too. 
Not like I use it all the time, but y'know, whatever...

I'm starting a lot of things later in life than other people, but that doesn't bother me, I'm much younger than I thought I'd be at this age. 
Late bloomer, maybe?
 Maybe in some respects. I certainly had plenty of adventures through my life,  I just didn't know what I wanted to be when I grew up. 
Mainly because I don't actually want to grow up. 

Honestly, I'm not sure how else to describe myself. Not without an accompanying story.
 So I guess that's what I am. 

A Storyteller. 

And honey, have I got some stories for you...
 I have wrestled with a bear and cuddled with a tiger,
 I have driven 1000 miles for a dog, 
I have had innumerable adventures that usually end with, "That was so much fun! How did we not die?" 
I have had good days and bad days and amazing days and bloody awful days, met good people and bad people and people that I swear were angels, made a LOT of bad decisions, and learned from most of them. A lot of them. Whatever. Anyway. 
I'm still learning, I'll admit that.

And I'm still figuring out this blog stuff. But it's time to tell the stories. I have told some of them in an edited form on my Youtube channel, JenWilson, but there are some stories that I just feel want to be told on here, not in front of a camera.  

I hope you'll stick around and see what I mean. It'll be interesting. It may be weird sometimes...but it'll be interesting. See you soon!
